Charlene Mae Malecka
29 janvier 1946 - 14 mars 2022
29 janvier 1946 - 14 mars 2022
Charlene Mae Malecka was born on January 29, 1946 in Redding, California. She was baptized at the age of 11 along side her father and sister on June 15, 1957. She met her loving husband, David, in Ohio and they married on November 4, 1972. Sadly, she lost David, who shared her same heavenly hope, in 1994.
Even with the heavy loss of her dear husband, and more recently the loss of her home and material possessions consumed in the Dixie fires of 2021, her joy remained in serving her God, Jehovah. Her reliance and love for Jehovah was evident as she raised her children to love him as well - teaching them through His Word and by her excellent example. She also did the same with many others throughout the years, helping multiple ones to dedicate their lives to Jehovah. She always looked for opportunities to speak about her heavenly Father. She continually strived to imitate his qualities. Those qualities embodied her, giving clear evidence of the validity of her heavenly calling which she strongly maintained for 45 years.
She had the same interest and talent in art as her mother. As an outstanding artist she thoroughly enjoyed painting and drawing, especially when using Jehovah’s creation as her canvas. Often she would set up an easel on the beach and paint alongside and share her talents with her children, grandchildren and friends.
Her life’s travels throughout the country gave her the privilege of meeting and becoming close friends with wonderful servants of Jehovah. She was able to maintain those friendships through the years and including her last days here on earth. She was a genuine and loving person. She always looked for the good in others and was never jealous or envious. She was always there with a listening ear for her friends and family - always directing attention to Jehovah’s Word. (Prov. 31:26)
Charlene’s memory - her beautiful smile, her warm embrace and her caring heart - will continually be cherished by her children - Brent Lee, Julia Dawn, Vena Marie and Michael David along with each of their spouses and her grandchildren - Luke, Dylan, Ronan, Teagan, Fynn and Darby as well as her sister, Marcia and brother, Jon.
“I am under pressure from these two things; but what I do desire is the releasing and the being with Christ, for this, to be sure, is far better.” - Phil. 1:23
“For you the sun will no longer be a light by day, Nor will the shining of the moon give you light, For Jehovah will become to you an eternal light, And your God will be your beauty…And the days of your mourning will have ended.” - Isa. 60:19,20

Charlene was such a wonderful sister.Always positive and kind, and encouraging and such a great example. She helped me greatly! And always spoke about Jehovah. And even though she was highly intelligent never made me feel lesser with my pea brain. Lol I will miss her even though I hadn’t kept up seeing her in for a time I thought of her often and know she is being well looked after now.
