Chantel Lynn Smith

Chantel Smith, 47, of Parkersburg, WV, an avid reader and a lover of the outdoors and animals died Saturday, June 26, 2021 with the compassionate care of Camden Clark Medical Center. Her family has announced her death. Ms. Smith was born Chantel Lynn Redpath on June 10, 1974 at Colorado Springs, Colorado to Carl Fredrick Redpath and Gayle Irene Shostack (Donley). She is survived by her two children, daughter Nicole Smith of Coolville, Ohio and son Eric Smith of Rockport, West Virginia, and a granddaughter Destiny. She also leaves behind two siblings, Frederick Redpath and his partner Ethel Mason of Parkersburg, West Virginia and Jerry Redpath and his wife MaryJo of Palm Bay, Florida, along with many nieces and nephews. Ms. Smith passed away peacefully after a brief illness. A private cremation will take place at Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation Society. Donations can be made in her name to the Humane Society.
