Cathleen June Mcgee

Cathleen June McGee died at age 63. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She passed on November 5th, 2023 after losing a 24 year long battle with cancer. Cathy began life in South Los Angeles but there was no where in the city she didn't feel at home. Cathy was active in many hobbies, most notably at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire from 1979 - 2020 where many knew her as Sally Moon (in the Guilds of Queen's Court and Saint Michael's), and in Board Gaming. She spent 30 years working as an IT specialist after going back to school while raising her children and caring for her grandmother and mother in their last years. Her most recent job was with Republic Indemnity, she loved her coworkers as family and thought of them even when on leave from work. She is survived by 3 children Cara, Nia and Ian, her loving siblings Leslie, Sheila, and Bunny. By sister in-law Carrie, and by her nieces and nephews Destin, Sophia, and Marissa. By her dearest friends Bootsie and Alden. And by so many more than can be listed. I love you to the moon and back.
