I know I already posted this to IG but it was the thought that immediately came to my mind when hearing she'd left us. Brooke was such a light and full of joy and kindness. I'll always remember lots of laughter and shenanigans, but most of all I'll remember her sincerity. We were only acquaintances but after long periods of time, we'd always be able to pick up just where we left off. We will all remember you fondly, always.

It has been a long time since talking with Brooke, but I remember you always being kind to everyone around you, caring to her friends, and just a beautiful person. Brooke you will always be remembered very well with me and my memories I hope you have found peace and happiness Your Friend Michael S Lee

I bonded with Brooke when we worked at a construction company in San Francisco a few years ago. We were tasked with site preparation for a miniature golf course and both ended up digging ditches for future electric lines. We laughed at the irony of how this is exactly what people told you that you didn’t want to end up doing as an adult. We made the best of the situation and actually had fun working together. She took pictures of me with Shovel in hand to send my parents explaining how I’ve really made it. When we got back to work she sure was tough and never complained. I stayed in touch with her over the years having fun talking trash on silly things and I enjoyed her perspective throughout our life experiences. She was a good friend and I’ll miss our ramblings.

Hey there, Sweet Movie. We knew each other briefly. Played some pool, watched some movies, played guitar. You taught me about Hannah Montana. We worked together, hung out on occasion, went to the shelter, enjoyed kitties, and great many other things. I met mom, your friends, and learned what a wonderfully honest person you are. I will always cherish our conversations, your easy intelligence and youthful maturity. It is always the brightest stars that we lose, the universe is noticeably dim in your absence. Sleep well, dream on, and remember that your sweet movie and light will never be forgotten. I will see you on the back half.

I'm still in shock, and my heart is hurting. Brooke was so creative, such a free spirit. Such a loss of a wonderful soul.
