Recuerdos

We regretfully announce the passing of our beloved Brian Michael Jolicoeur, from Gales Ferry, CT. He was taken too soon at the age of 59, on February 8, 2022, when struck by another vehicle while driving to work. All who knew Brian know his passion for food and cooking and loving the wind in his hair whether sailing, riding his Harley, or driving the Miata. He was a well-known tinkerer most often expressed by building and flying radio-controlled planes. He loved music and being the quintessentially charismatic social butterfly! He was highly dedicated to the HVAC industry. He had a rare depth of knowledge for every aspect of system design and operation. Brian was greatly respected for his work and business, AllTemp Climate Control. He was always fair and loyal to his customers and the community. Brian was the devoted partner of Billi-Jean King, loving son of Jeanne Govino and the late Charles Jolicoeur, cherished brother of Sandra Jolicoeur George, Sharon Jolicoeur Chenette, and Charles St. George. Brian is also survived by many precious members of the St. George and LaSalle families, including a multitude of loving nieces and nephews: Sarah Stoltz Patterson, Matthew Stoltz, Justin Chenette, Adam Chenette, Elise Oberly, Bernadette St. George, Cassandre Springob, Francis St. George, Joseph St. George, Theodore St. George and Maximillan St. George, as well as an abundance of esteemed friends and colleagues. A celebration of life will occur on a later date still to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to consider planting a tree https://thetreesremember.com, donating to your favorite animal shelter or charity. Brian was such a lover of the universe, nature, and its critters.

Brian visited me at my beach home in Oregon. He brought his recipe book and created so much more! We had a great time touring the coast, too! Here we are at the docks in Newport.

Dear Brian and family... your unexpected and tragic passing has brought us together. Please pray for us as we pray you rest in peace with faith in knowing you have been deeply loved and will be missed terribly. I'm grateful for your visits to the farm, meetups at your worksites, chats about health, cooking with Mèmére, concerts, visits sharing your love of planes with our boys, attending every family event, challenging each other about educational best practices, loving nature, sharing jokes and respectfully bypassing political conversations.

My dear cousin Brian, you were taken way too soon. When our family moved to CT I was thrilled that we would be around all of our relatives, especially our cousins. We loved going to Aunt Jean and Uncle Charlies and hang out as well as their beach cottage in the summer. It was always a great time with lots of laughter and memories. Then you moved to Gales Ferry and lived even closer to us. Great times sailing with you and your dad. Although over the years we didn't see each other as much as we would have liked, we always picked up where we left off. You were such a kind soul with a big heart. I enjoyed sharing memmere's recipes and even cooking together on occasion. You are with your mom and dad now, but will be greatly missed here on earth. RIP Brian
