And no resident will say: “I am sick.” - Isa. 33:24

Brendan was born September 21, 2000 in Anaheim, CA and passed away June 9th 2026 in Riverside, CA. Brendan is survived by his loving parents, Kim and Rhonda Burket; his sister, Brandee Williams, and her husband, Chris Williams; his grandmothers, Jean Gering and Wilma Sage; his uncle, Truman Burket; and many beloved cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

From the very beginning, Brendan brought joy to those around him. Affectionately known by his family as “Bugga”, Brendan was known for his happy spirit, loving heart, and genuine kindness toward everyone he met.

Despite the challenges he faced due to his disabilities, Brendan never viewed himself as different. In fact, when doctors said he would never walk or talk, Brendan proved them wrong. Through determination, courage, and an unbreakable spirit, he accomplished things many thought impossible. He approached life with positivity and treated everyone with unconditional love and acceptance. His warmth, compassion, and joyful personality left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Brendan’s faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses was central to his life. He deeply loved Jehovah and eagerly shared his faith with anyone willing to listen. One of the proudest and most cherished moments in Brendan’s life was becoming an unbaptized publisher.

Serving Jehovah and speaking to others about his God brought him immense joy. Brendan was actively working toward his goal of baptism, and although he had not yet publicly symbolized that dedication, it was evident to all who knew him that he had already dedicated his life to Jehovah in his heart.

Brendan also had a passion for travel and treasured family vacations, especially trips to Disney World, which brought him immense happiness. He had a lifelong fascination with aviation and spent countless hours joyfully flying his virtual plane simulator to destinations all around the world.

Although Brendan’s time with us was far too short, his life was filled with love, faith, joy, and kindness. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Until we meet again when all is new.
