Babar was taken from us way too soon. We are all deeply saddened by his loss which has been devastating. Babar had many roles in our lives as father, husband, son, brother, friend, mentor and colleague. Babar was an amazing father - his children Jade, Jamie and Jason will always remember the many wonderful moments with him as he encouraged them to try things out and to persevere. He was married to Diane for nearly 26 years. Babar was a loving son to Chris and his late father, Cheena and a wonderful brother. He was always helpful, kind and full of fun. He touched the lives of many with his wonderfully generous spirit. He will be missed by so many. There is so much more to say and so we have set up this page so that we can all share stories, memories and photos to celebrate his life.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Diane, Jade, Jamie and Jason. Although we were not close the last years I remember fondly the early morning golf at Pine Ridge and the 'braais' at ours or theirs. No matter the occasion the constants always were Barbar's love for a joke, his insistence on having a good time and his pride for his children. Rest in peace.

I had the honour of working with babar for many years, he was without a doubt the most honourable , loyal , dependable and kind man I have ever met. My heartfelt condolences to his family. He will sadly missed but live forever in the hearts of the people who’s lives he touched . Goodbye my friend.

What a man always there for everyone to have some fun with, went camping and of course what does Barbar bring yep a bloody Karaoke system. Which only Paul and he did.
