Audrey May Boothby, Mrs.

Audrey was a caring and loving lady. She looked after many children over her extensive life. But most of all she was Mum to Darren who misses her profoundly. She trained as a Registered General Nurse and served in many places, one of which was the Newcastle Royal Infirmary. Sadly she had to stop Nursing when her own mother became ill. Despite several health issues later in life she kept a positive outlook and was a frequent user of the local Community Transport charity. Around 2010 she started to develop vascular dementia. She moved south and stayed their with Darren until her death in December 2022.
