You were a great friend, great family man, someone with a positive outlook towards life and a very smart and hard worker. Rest in Peace friend.

I worked closely with Arun for last 4 years I am still coming to terms with his loss. A very amicable person, full of ideas... gently pushing me to develop something new in Pune. His passion for Additive was always on display and there was never a let-down in that intensity - whether it was trying lattice structures or easing out the calibration process or guiding Aneeket in his thermal thesis and above all anything and everything about QuantAM. Arun - I was lucky to have you in my team. Thanks for being there. "There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart." - Mahatma Gandhi. Warm Regards - Neeraj

Arun, you were someone I consider an expert on the application side of things. Your domain knowledge was superb and was not limited to a single domain. You had great clarity and your thought process was something I always appreciated. I never saw an iota of ego in you and you weren't afraid to say so when you didn't know about something. Your technical superiority apart, you were an amazing human being. Anyone who was stressed out or angry, on seeing you I'm sure their stress would subside at the very least for the next few minutes. You had a charm, some sort of charisma about you. There was no way people could ignore you, your presence was so appealing. Your voice was so pleasant, your smile so infectious. And it all came from the heart. You were one of the simplest, one of the humblest people I have ever encountered. You were truly a gem. Arun you have gone too soon, you have gone too young. You loved God so much which was so evident. May God bless your soul. May your soul rest in peace.

Arun Pole.... I heard this name for the first time in June 2008 via a Phone call. Spend around an hour with him over phone and later joined his team. I initially thought he is very calm and silent guy.... spending time with him i realized that he is also a holly & spiritual man... even though our paths are different but the goal is same in spiritual way.... Arun is very spiritual and a holly soul. A soft-spoken,, easy to approach and a soft smile guy... in this journey of 12+ years, I have seen his up & downs. one thing which is consistent with him is -- his smile on his face and his belief in LORD in every situation... Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge, experience and your belief on LORD.. Arun... You may be physically away from us... but your glory and memories are always alive within us. God always loves people like you... that might be the reason he want you with him... I pray Lord to give strength to your family in these difficult times and there after. Rest in Pease MY DEAR ARUN... Yours, Venkata.

A few years back, Renishaw Sports committee had arranged table tennis competition. For the first time, they had invited entries from individuals and the teams were randomly formed from within the entries received. Arun was a very good player - pro in TT. He was very gracious and encouraging even after knowing that he had been teamed up with a novice. The likelihood of our team winning the match was very less. Still, he put his best foot forward and kept on encouraging me to play better. His calm demeanor and friendliness will surely be missed. May his soul rest in peace.
