Anna Marie Morton

I worked with Peter when he was with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Anna Marie traveled to the east coast only a handful of times. But the love & respect between Peter and Anna Marie was palpable, and Peter told many sweet stories about Anna Marie's accomplishments with young mothers, her love of nature & music. She attended a private lunch with me, where I was nervous about the setting and the other guest; Anna Marie had every kind word and conversation-starter ready, and it was a very enjoyable, relaxed time thanks to her. One memory I will never forget: Peter telling me that Anna Marie packed his suitcase every time he traveled, and she had such good taste and would make sure his outfits matched (I recall because Peter is colorblind?)! I always considered her a saint, to choose and pack your clothes when you traveled so much, Peter. I didn't see it as a way to get you out the door faster, but rather to have a little bit of her with you at all times when you had to be away from home.
