Andrew was such a special person, and he will always hold a place in my heart. I’ll never forget the night I saw my first shooting star (ever!) with him—it was a small but magical moment. He changed my life in ways I’ll always be grateful for, and I will remember him always. My thoughts are with you all and I’m sending all my love. May he rest in peace.

Reading Andrew's book is a revelation. All I can do today is lament that I didn't get to know him better before he passed. What a loss. My prayers to his family and friends. I wish I had spent more time getting to know him before. Knowing him now, through his words, it is obvious why he was so loved by his family, and his memory will stick with me through his insightful, funny, and moving prose. He will be missed terribly, even by someone like me, who only got to know him peripherally, as I think I missed a big opportunity to get to know an intelligent and deep person with a sharp sense of humor that is rare in this world. Get to know people and love them. That's why we are here.

If love was enough to heal, you would have never had a troubled thought.
