Oh Mark, it's only been a little over a year now. I can't wait for the day we are together again. I am trying to stay strong but it feels like an enternity. I don't know how to go on without you. Still feels like a bad dream that I can't wake up from.

I am so sorry for your loss and I will keep you & the kids in my prayers every day.
Mark was such a funny and nice guy and you could see in his eyes how much love he had for you and the kids. His actions spoken even louder by the affection he showed towards his family and the sacrifices he made.
It saddens me to know the pain that you and the kids will be dealing with, but keep in mind that Mark will constantly be watching and guiding over you and the kids.
Right now you have a lot to think about and are probably feeling overwhelmed by your emotions and the tasks you have ahead of you. But please know that I do love you and the kids very much and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for you. Last year when our Dad died, in my eulogy I told everyone that my siblings were a gift from Dad, I hope you know that I meant that; and even though we do not live close to each other if you need anything or just want to talk, I am here for you.

Pauline, when i heard about this tragedy, my tears wouln't stop. Mark was such a wonderful husband, father, friend. And there is so much more i could go on saying about him. I know you have probably heard this many many times, but let God get you through this tragady. Pauline, please believe me that he will. Just have faith and believe, even when you think he might not be listening. Try to look ant it this way, Mark is now preparing a a beautiful home up above. To Pauline, Kids and Family:
My heart and prayers go out to you Pauline,Your kids and extended family. I know you dont know me well, but It was a lifetime ago since I have seen Mark or had the pleasure of his company.
Mark and I were the 3rd and 4th wheels to Athony Valdez and Tabatha (Anthony's first wife) and he took me to my Jr. Prom. He quickly became a protective older brother to me and of course the person who could make me laugh to point of peeing my pants! He had a great sense of humor. He always had me laughing. Always, Always, Always... Those are my best memories of him! I am sure God was in need of some of that humor in heaven.
I know your heart is filled with pain and sorrow right now, but rest in the fact that God is holding your hand right now, he is wiping those tears off your face and grieving right along with you. He is carrying you and your children and will carry you through this. Hold on to that hope.
In Matthew 5:4 it says,
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."
In 1 Peter 5:6-7 the bible states
"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
The next quote was once forwarded to me at a time of pain and grief and now I like to forward to those in time of grief.
"In time your sorrow will turn into joy. Not the sorrow to be taken away, and joy to be put in its place, but the very sorrow which now grieves you shall be turned into joy. God not only takes away the bitterness and gives sweetness in its place, but turns the bitterness into sweetness itself."
You and your family will be in my daily prayers. Rest assured that the sweetness will come back! I promise you. In time it will come...

To Elias Jr. & family, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. I have known you two since high school and we have had some good times. Mark was a good man and a friend. My prayers are with you. uncle you were such a good man and you were so strong, loving, hopefull, caring, and u were a big part of our lives.

My family and I send our deepest sympathy to Marc's Family. Marc was a wonderful person who I remember fondly. I recall the times we all played together in elementary school and joking around with him with in middle school and high school. I remember sitting in the bus borrowing each other's music casette tapes and then later on meeting up with Marc at the Bon Jovi concert where he tried to cut in line with me Evelyn and Georgette and made us laugh. Marc You will be missed but never forgotten.
