Biography


Liz passed away peacefully September 20th with her family at her side. She was born May2, 1961 and was a lifelong resident of Santa Fe.



She is preceded in death by her parents Joaquin & Lourdes Montoya, Sister AnnaMae Garcia & Dolores Gonzales, Brother Raymond Montoya and nephew Mario Hinojoza.



She is survived by her son Jacob (Yesenia) grandchildren Alexandra, Adam & Abram. Brothers & Sisters Joe, Jake (Dolores), Sam (Norma), Diana Montoya, Rosella Hinojoza, Brother in-law Carl Garcia and many nieces & nephews.



Liz worked many years in the automobile industry. Her knowledge of auto parts and car accessories were extensive. During her career, she made many friends and helped many people in the Santa Fe area.



Her memorial services will begin with a rosary at St. Annes at 7:30 pm Monday September 26th. There will be a mass at St. Annes the following day, the 27th at 10am. We will have a gathering to celebrate her life after the mass at the St. Annes parish Hall.

One of the most enjoyable times of my entire life was one Christmas Eve listening to Liz talk about her childhood and tell jokes. I kept saying that she could be on TV and hit the comedy clubs. She was hilarious and so much fun. I’m sure she is making everyone laugh in Heaven! Love, Susy (Rivera)
