June Carolyne Lederman

June Caroline Lederman much loved wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away July 21, 2018 from natural causes at her home in Espanola, NM.

June was born June 30, 1932, in Mt. Vernon, Il to Oma May Melton (Vaughan) and Verne Scott Melton Sr. She had three brothers, Verne Scott Melton Jr. and Robert Scott who predeceased her, and William C. Scott Jr. who lives in Florida.

June lived most of her life in Northern Illinois (Wheaton and West Chicago) and the last 18 years in Espanola, NM with her Husband, Arthur Nicholas Lederman (who passed in 2004) and Daughter, Cheryl Lynne Lederman.

June enjoyed her Family, Traveling, Reading, Animals (their conservation and rescue), Cooking, Music, Art, Antiques, and Decorating. June was a fair and caring person to her family and everyone she knew.

She is survived by her Brother; William C. Scott Jr., Daughter; Cheryl Lynne, Sister-in-law; Barbara Scott, Patty Scott and Ann Melton. A very good friend; Pat Phelps, many Nieces and Nephews and their families. Her most faithful companions; “Hula”, “Teddy”, and “Spider” who will miss her very much.
