Elizabeth J. Gentry

Elizabeth Gentry, age 68 of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away on May 30, 2018. She was born on January 23, 1950 in Watrous, New Mexico to Joe and Stella Martinez. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends whom she’s met throughout the years. She also enjoyed her hobbies such as quilting, crocheting, and embroidering. She especially enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Solomon Gentry; parents: Joe and Stella Martinez; brother: Joe Martinez; brother: Dennis Martinez; mother-in-law: Isa Gentry; father-in-law: Milton Gentry; sister-in-law: Jane Gentry.
She is survived by her daughter Lynnette Martinez and husband Marcos of Los Lunas, NM, her son Jason Gentry of Las Cruces, NM, her grandson Michael Martinez of Los Lunas, NM, her sister Umelia Martinez of Santa Fe, New Mexico, her sister Irene Rosasco and husband Tony Rosasco of Santa Fe, New Mexico, brother Peter Martinez of Las Vegas, New Mexico, aunt Cleo Eckard, and uncle Phil Martinez.
Rosary and mass will be held on Tuesday, June 5th at 10:30am Santa Maria De La Paz Catholic Community, 11 College Avenue, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Friends and family are requested to join the family for a reception following the service. Burial will be on Wednesday, June 6th at 10:30am at the Watrous Cemetery.
