Dick and I were saddened to hear of Dale's passing. He will be greatly missed as a good friend and former classmate at St. Mary's. Our thoughts, prayers, and love go out to Carol and their children.
We fondly remember our visits back to Warren and getting together with the Musolf's and Wassil's. The guys never ran out of things to talk about. It was just like old times.
Dale you will be missed so much.

I was fifteen when my sister married Dale. He was a fine brother-in-law, a dear trusted friend, a wise mentor and Best man at my wedding. He was always patient with me and a good listener. I told him things that I could never tell anyone else. He was generous and dependable. He came to my aid many times. He always knew what to do and how to help. He was a precious addition to our family. We all loved him. It's been a blessing to have him in my life. I

There are no words that I can say that could ease your pain during this difficult time. Stan and I both give our deepest condolences on your loss. Dale was a great man passing who loved his family and country and passed to early in life. I am so sorry that we can not be there for his service but hope to be able to make it to Arlington to pay our respects. Good sailing Dale, until we meet again!

My heartfelt farewell to our trusted and honored shipmate and fellow US Navy Seabee. Dale was first a loving husband and father, a Navy warrior with an enduring pride in and love for our Nation and the Navy he proudly served. He exhibited the finest sense of personal honor and would never break his word as it was his bond and his truth. A skilled Engineer and a practical builder who enjoyed challenges and assembling his team to solve problems, all the while helping them learn and grow with each accomplishment.
As serious and dignified as Master Chief Constructionman Musolf appeared, those who knew him well were aware that a streak of humor and mischief ran just below that calm surface ready to break through when needed to overcome late hours, hard work and sometimes the despair of setbacks. We will miss his smile, that hand on your shoulder and knowing our brother shared everything with us. My sincere condolences to Dale's whole family and all his friends like me who are feeling a loss of part of our hearts with his passing. I will say my final thanks and offer a prayer for him at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. One last time Dale "Fair winds and Following Seas" my Friend.

My deepest regrets to not be able to attend. He was a wonderful person, a pleasure to know, and spend the time I was blessed to have spent with Mr Musolf. A lover of life, adventure, and exploring when I knew him. Very saddened to hear of his passing too soon. My deepest condolences to Trigger, Janet, Mrs. Musolf, and family. God speed sir.
