I knew the Hufford family very well when I lived in Moline. My mother, Margaret Johnson, and Betty were very good friends. I worked with Dick at Williams, White. They were fine people. I knew the Otis and Thorngren families, too. God is great in giving us memories.

Hello Jean (aka Little Huff), What a blessing for you to have had your mother nearby the last couple of years. I wanted you to know that I care and that I'm praying for all your family. You may be interested to know that I have regular contact with some of our former friends from our camping days. While we always grieve our loss, we can celebrate a life very well lived. Its been a long time since we were all one big family on the court, but I still remember Dick and Betty with fondness and admiration. She has left behind a wonderful family, lifelong friends, and the world a better place. Not much more any of us can hope for. Len & Shirley Gilbert
