Jose “Joe” M. Gallegos, July 28, 1931 – February 22, 2019, was born in Hernandez, NM and resided in Santa Fe, NM. Joe is survived by his children, Patricia Koh (Kilsan), Robert, Mary Louise Pacheco, Debra Zapata (Fernando); sisters, Olivia Smyth, Ramona Romero, Esther Holguin (Adolfo), Hattie Baca; sister-in-law, Rose Gallegos; grandchildren, Linda Koh (Paulo), Isaac Koh, Kristina Gallegos-Brown (Gwydion) , Robbie Gallegos, Anthony Garcia, Wendi Garcia, Bobby Garcia (Mercedes), Jolene Rangel (Alfredo), Jaclyn Silva; 12 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; Seventh-Day Adventist Brothers and Sisters in Christ; Painters and Allied Trade Union Local #823; Brothers of the Santa Fe Veterans Center. Predeceased by his parents, Adelaido & Josefita Gallegos; spouses, Flossie, Senaida; brothers, Fidel (Frances), Frank, Tony; brother-in-law, Telesfor Romero; son-in-law, Ray Pacheco.
Memorial services for Joe M. Gallegos are as follows: Wednesday evening, 2/27/19 at 6:00pm and Thursday, 2/28/19 at 12:00pm. Location for both services will be at the Marcy Park Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 702 Bishop Lodge Road, Santa Fe, NM. The burial interment will be at 3:00pm, Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
