I hope my achievements in life shall be these - that I will have fought for what was right and fair; that I will have risked for all that mattered; that I will have stood up for those who were in need; and that I will have left the earth a better place for what I've done and who I've been.
In 1975 Rauscher co-founded the Berkeley Fundamental Fysiks Group, an informal group of physicists who met weekly to discuss "quantum mysticism" and the philosophy of quantum physics and nurtured ideas which were unpopular at the time within the physics community, but which later, in part, formed the basis of quantum information science.
She was a member of APS, IEEE, AAAS, MAA, ANA, AAMI and a UN delegate/adviser (1979, 1989, 2002). She authored over 280 scientific papers and 6 books, and has 5 U.S. patents and one European patent. She founded several labs for scientific inquiry and has received numerous awards and grants and is listed in eleven Who’s Who, including Marquis’ Who’s Who, and Men and Women in Science and Technology.
Rauscher also had a deep interest in psychic phenomena and other paranormal claims which she studied over decades following rigid scientific investigative standards.
She loved nature, family and discovery - being an active supporter of many groups preserving our environment and who sought greater understanding of our natural world and the underlying physical principals of reality.
Everyone she met was a friend, whether bell-hop or Prince - she cared for them all and each knew her loving heart.

I work for someone who is very interested in some of her talks regarding electromagnetic pulses in regards to healing. I went to spend Thanksgiving with Elizabeth one year and we ate pumpkin pie first. She was always so much fun. Missing her!
Kimberly, thank you for sharing this week! Mom's favorite is PUMPKIN - year round, anytime. It was, of course, a 'mandatory dessert' for Thanksgiving and also a special treat - with MILK - at the local Village Inn near home.

I never meet Elizabeth in person, In fact, I'd only spoken with her once over the phone (several hours) back in in 2002. I had contacted her for two reasons. The first was because I'd been in contact with one of her former students in the 60's from J.F.K. University named Nancy X. Sharpnack, she was very fond of Elizabeth and spoke very highly about her. The second reason was concerning an article published by a guy named Mike Coyle, it glossed over some of the details of her and Bill Bise's work on scalar EM and experiments they had conducted. I was super curious, so I wanted to her it from the, "horses mouth," so I called the number at Apache Junction, Az. The voice on the other line was a very kind one indeed. She explained a lot details of the work her and Bill (deceased at that time) had dome. One very touching thing she said was regarding the first time she went on a date with Bill. In her own words, "He explained his view of Schroedinger's cat, threw in some quantum mechanics along with some poetry and that sealed the deal."
Following that conversation, I could understand why Mike Coyle referred to Elizabeth as, "the trail blazer." While her mannerism was gregarious, her mind was very keen and analytical.

It is extremely sad to hear about this loss. Dr. Rauscher was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and so open. Meeting her at the Tesla Society in SF, was my greatest honor. It was amazing to hear about her plans to rebuild Teslas' Wandercliff tower! Well in the meantime Corum's et al. managed it and they will recover somebody's else energy needs instead of simple taxpayers. I Hope Dr. Rauschers death was natural and not 'caused' by some strange coincidence. I'm leaving this note here, because knowing very shortly one of her friends, Mr. James M. Benster (EMF Clean Sweep) makes me wonder, and worry...Forgive sir, if I'm wrong.

I met Elizabeth when I was a student at John F. Kennedy University where she was lecturing a special course in physics and parapsychology. We became friendly and had several long talks. She approached me about writing a book with her. I was very flattered, but demurred, saying I didn't know much about physics. She said she could teach me telepathically. I am currently reading a novel about a physicist and single mom, There is a reference to the Fundamental Fysiks Group, and I thought of Elizabeth, googled her, and learned she died last year. The book features a ghost, so...woo woo!

Elizabeth influenced me since I was a teenager, without her even knowing! It was literally a dream come true to go through the process of being a fan, collaborator, friend, mentee, and adopted grandson. I am finally coming to terms with her passing and can now ahead to preserve her legacy and be an example of her overwhelming brilliance and humor.
I loved her so much. I loved how when she answered the phone, she would say, "Phonon!" ahhaha. I loved that she really knew what she was talking about and still remained humble in the process. We had a deal that once she made enough money not to worry, she would try out being an A** hole for a week, just so she could see how it feels!

Sorry to hear about Elizabeth I knew her for a long time ,we met many times over the years , we had fun in Los Angeles we went into the ocean in Malibu when visiting Dennis Weaver we both loved Star Trek and hermin Zimmerman gave us a tour of the deep space nine sets ,

Elizabeth was a light bearer, she lived her life her way as Frank Sinatra mentions in one of his famous ballads.
She explored life as though it was something precious...to know her was to love her. What a remarkable woman and human being, she lit up a room.

I only met Dr. Elizabeth Rauscher one time, in February of this year, after being put in touch by a colleague who knew of my interest in bioelectromagnetics. She was a gracious host for the two or three hours that I visited that day in Arizona, and I regret not having been able to visit again. Since then I have learned a good deal more about her life and work. I believe the scientific community and the world has suffered a great loss with her passing. It was in 2013 or 14 when I visited several times with Elizabeth at her home in Apache Junction. I lived in Phoenix and we had become briefly acquainted at one of the Teslatech Conferences. I was impressed by Elizabeth's leadership with the Fun Fysiks group at Berkeley and was looking for a mentor to help me enhance my learning about the science of physics; she seemed a natural choice to contact. I told her I wanted to renew the "Fun Fysiks" aspect of our first meeting, and we laughed and enjoyed the egg salad sandwiches and goodies I brought with me. The first thing she said to me was, "What do you know about the war?" Probing me right out of the gate! I wasn't really sure which war she was talking about and was really not prepared to reveal what my actual answer might be. When I told her about my intentions she was again quite straight forward and said, "It's already been done!" I had been interested in exploring the bridge between universal spirituality and science/physics for several years and had found very little information regarding the particular perspective I was researching. Unbeknownst to me at the time, Elizabeth was about to publish her book on Orbiting the Moons of Pluto in which she and Richard Amoroso had worked out some very complex physics math problems that would help to unify the field. Although a mathematical solution was not what I was looking for in my quest, I feel Elizabeth's work has not been fully acknowledged and honored. I hope her true professional legacy will be properly recognized in the future.... Although a "mentorship" did not develop between us, I know our interests on a more cosmic consciousness and humanistic scale continue to be in sync. I remember those conversations sitting at a lakeside picnic table by one of the Superstition Mountains of Arizona where we shared heart-felt talks about our growing up years, aspirations, and life in general. I will not forget my feelings of compassion for her as she walked down some wooden stairs with great difficulty to reach the lake. Her determination was unstoppable! ….I feel more than ever an affinity of purpose with Elizabeth and her presence. At the 2019 Psychotronics Conference on July 28th the same day as your Memorial, I will also acknowledge some of Elizabeth's work during my presentation. She was a strong supporter of that group as well as Teslatech. Even though she has crossed over, in many ways she is still with us. We remain in sync in the heart of Spirit! With Love and Appreciation to Elizabeth.

So many first meet my mother through her work & conferences, but everyone gets to know her heart like you have. She will quickly challenge you to know where you stand and which direction you are heading - and then share all she has... knowledge, wisdom, compassion, purpose, aspirations and love. In the early summer of 1975, I went on a wonderful road trip with Elizabeth Rauscher in her old Chevy. It was a kind of Fundamental Fysiks Group expedition. She called it our “Space-time Odyssey,” and many strange things did happen.
For example, we stopped off at Stanford University to pick up two metal pyramids for her private research into “pyramid power.” We needed to purchase up a large number of copper “Chore Boys” to stuff into the pyramids. (Some pyramid power mavens had claimed that copper stuffing increases the power coming out of the tip of the pyramid.) So Elizabeth and I made a stop at the Palo Alto Co-op to buy copper Chore Boys. We bought a whole case. When asked by the check-out clerk why we needed so many of these, I immediately said, “Oh, we need them as fuel for our rocket ship, so that we can get back to out home planet.” The clerk looked at us strangely, wondering whether our cash was for real.
Traveling with Elizabeth had put me in the mood of “anything can happen”!
Then we went down to Boulder Creek to visit Nick Herbert (a stalwart member of the Fundamental Fysiks Group). He got right into the swing of things and helped to stuff the two pyramids with the copper Core Boys. Then Nick took out his Wimshurst static-electricity generator (like the one I remembered from high school physics class) and proceeded to “charge” them up.
The next day, Elizabeth and I went to Well-Springs on Alba Road in Ben Lomond. A couple of weeks earlier I had experienced three days of massage-to-music from Phyllis Harrison. I wanted to introduce Elizabeth to Phyllis and to give her a copy of Robert Lindner’s book, The Fifty Minute Hour. I had suggested to Phyllis that the “Jet Propelled Couch” physicist in Lindner’s book was her husband, Kiko Harrison.
On the way to the main house at Well-Springs, Elizabeth and I each carried one of the metal pyramids. As we approached the house, we saw Marcel Vogel next to a huge redwood tree. With one hand on the tree, he was describing the vibes he was feeling to a group of eager students. Without missing a beat, Marcel said, “Here come the pyramids.” After all, Marcel was famous for the Vogel Crystals, which are cut precisely to the Great Pyramid angle of 51 deg., 51 min. and 51 sec.
Presumably, Marcel had been discussing pyramid power and considered this just another synchronicity. Marcel worked for many years at the IBM San Jose Research Center, and was their liquid crystal expert. Perhaps his most popular invention was the “Day Glow” psychedelic pigments used for posters in the 1960s.

Great story! I remember those pyramids - we kept one of them (with about an 18" base) in the foyer of the home in Berkeley - we placed food inside to see if it stayed fresh longer (but it didn't make a difference). Still that is part of living with Mom - even in BERKELEY, my family was just a bit different!

My mother was certainly a very intelligent woman - a leader and ground-breaker for so many to enter the 'guys' club' of physics. She was challenged and too often disheartened in seeking equality where everyone is judged on their work. But she made a difference! And achieved so much, not only in research, but for humanity. I am so very proud of her work, her character, and her earnest desire to build a better world for the next generation of physicists - both the men AND the women.

I never met Elizabeth Rauscher but read all about her and quickly became a fan of her groundbreaking exploration into the world of science when few women were attempting such leaps. I have earmarked her words of wisdom in David Kaiser's book taken from the anniversary of the Fundamental Fysiks Group in 2000..."Most of everything, I think, is spirit, and a little is condensed out as matter...And interestingly enough, it only takes one experiment to find out you believe in life, because it only takes the birth of one child...We can have peace, love and joy on this planet, instead of war, crime and violence. Instead of warships, we need peaceships." I myself just lost my father, a remarkable man, I hope they are having a toast on the other side. Blessings to your family.

Elizabeth was a person with many interests and fields of exploration. She was a searcher of new ideas, of philosophy, art, and much more. She was a photographer, a writer, a scuba instructor, a hiker, a researcher, a teacher, and so much more. Some of the happiest and most interesting times in my life were those shared with Elizabeth, including shared experiences at Camp Lokoya, both in childhood, and as adults.
Working with her on remote viewing projects was transformative for both of us.
Elizabeth’s greatest gift was having brought Brent into the world. What a delight he is to our family and all who know him. Through Brent and Cheryl, Elizabeth has made possible Brittany and her precious children. Elizabeth has lived a very full and successful life, successful in having fulfilled her many interests, goals, and desires. She will be missed.

You would be right to presume this is not exactly a recent photo! ;-) This is my mother (on the left) and her Big Sister, Hope, on the right. I know how shocked and in grief my Aunt has been this week to have lost her Little Sister... She had an opportunity to talk by phone on the day Mom passed and relay her feelings, via stories of their childhood together, that had waited too long to express. I do wish for her - and all of us - to know the peace that comes from reconciliation and forgiveness! There is so much power to be gained from those two actions and blessings will follow. Be sure to MAKE your opportunities today so that you have no regrets or lost time - for the time we waste shall never be a source of joy. Hug somebody you love today!

Elizabeth and I had many adventures over the last decade she had a beautiful spirit and was always a welcome houseguest. I was her wheelchair driver at several conferences: energy medicine and Tesla. she loved doing “wheelies” in the halls. When I drove her to Sedona to meet with Patrick Flanagan, she me pull over so she could have a remote viewing session of the pyramids with JJ Hurtak. No matter how many times I told her, she wouldn’t stop drinking Diet Coke. I hope we continue our adventures from the afterlife.

Ah... the Diet Coke! I made sure to NEVER run out of that... Thx for writing, sharing and loving my mom - she always had fun wherever she would go - even while limited to that wheelchair. That's a child-like wisdom to live to the fullest.

I saw Dr. Rauscher for the first (and only) time, until now, in a documentary featuring her dear friends Drs. Hurtak a few years ago, showcased in NYC. I do not even remember what she said. I feel it was something about flowers and the cosmos. What transfixed me, in those brief moments she sat before the camera, was her Purity and Beauty. She had one finger on Love and the other on All Creation and I recognized that her facets were smooth and reflected brilliantly. There are many honorable pioneers on the planet; three of my favorite are Drs. Hurtak and Nassim Haramein who publicized their adoration of her. To hear of her journey beyond sent my heart to them first. Fireworks have been lit for me knowing that her legacy lives on through Beloveds Brent & Linda. I Laugh, Cry, Sing, Study, Invent, Dance and Celebrate a Life Well-Lived with All of You on this Memorial. It's going to be fun getting to know you better Honorable Dr. Rauscher!!❤ Smiles

Elizabeth and I loved to hang out at hotel pools and people watch. (She said she liked to look at the men's legs :) Such a hoot you were in flesh Elizabeth. We had lot's of fun together. Always talking about when we could get together again.
The world knows you and remembers you for your brilliant mind. I Elizabeth remember you for not only your brilliant mind but also your soft, sweet heart, your hopes and dreams we talked about and your desire to help make our world a better place to be in.
Goodbye Elizabeth. I called you a month ago to say hi and tell you I love you.
In spirit I know you received my message. No more wheelchair and achy knees. You are free to visit us all. Now I will light a lamp for you and sing for you, a song of love.

I had the privilege of interviewing Elizabeth a few times by telephone about her experiences with Bob Beck. She was such a spark--physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually! She spoke of the fun they had shared as early members of the USPA. She sent me this picture of a meeting she missed in 1984 but the group made sure to include her by adding her picture to the photo. Elizabeth just lived down the road from my wife Lyz and I and welcomed us into her home. We just met over the last couple of years and really enjoyed talking with her about physics, unsolved problems, and current events. Last time I saw her about she shared she had solved a MAJOR 100 year old physics problem and would be writing about it. She was very kind and loved our dogs. Wish I would have spent more time with her. She continued in her work until the end. Her work lives on forever. Very inspirational person and a real trailblazer and expert in physics.

Since I kew Elizabeth, I felt a little safer. I knew the power of her mind and the beautiful marriage of heart, logic and math - Elizabeth is a truther and where she is now, she certainly moves on in this spirit. I met Elizabeth only by skype conferences and phonecalls, and small e-mail exchange. She shared her loving thouhgts with me, lent me her hand when I was in despair because I had to let my mother go - who ascended in April 2015. Now I feel Elizabeth experiences her a great awakening in the next dimension. Just continue, Elizabeth! My heart is with you and will always be.

Dear Brent! I feel blessed to be able to talk to you now. I was always curious about you and think of some parallel paths: my mum's name was also Elizabeth and she was a true angel by heart. In my life never found anyone as non-ego based and loving on a general basis. She would have been an excellent scientist, if not born to a poor farmer's family in 1924, when everybody was struggeling so very hard. That was one connection I immediately picked up with your mother, too. One of my best friends is Michael Hyson and I talk to him on skype at least once a week. A second synchronicity was to learn that your mum wanted to meet another "third" Elizabeth in Spain right around the time she decided to ascend! I am right now trying to join forces (based on sound and light technology...). Another synchronicity: I am born in 1962, but on the 22nd of August. I am sending you very much love and light!!! And I hug you.

I had the pleasure of listening to Elizabeth speak at Academy for Future Science seminars and at the 2018 Science of Consciousness conference in Tucson AZ. In Tucson, my partner and I personally chauffeured her around the conference in her wheelchair. She loved hanging out with us. I edited her slides too. She always had a swarm of interested physicists around her; an indication of her status as a leader in her field.

Yup, she was indeed an innovator and leader for so many - despite being in that wheel chair, she stood so tall in the field of scientific discovery. Thank you, Ken, for your love of my Mom to help her in so many kind ways - you are a generous person.

Elizabeth liked this description of her (I wrote this blurb to my half sister who wanted to meet her & asked what were Elizabeth’s favorite things & what was she like?:
“My Auntie is all over the internet! One of her favorite things is to explore consciousness. She’s a strong woman & can do anything a man can do, she loves nature, giggling & laughing, raw cookie dough, traveling, staying up late, deep conversations, being silly & pondering & having fun in life & she loves animals...she likes hot tubbing & bending spoons...She has inventions & research papers & is the best Auntie in the world/& universe!”
I remember being raised on that raw cookie dough - back then, we had to mix it from scratch... and then it half of it before having to actually cook some. She is, as you say, a very eclectic personality with a diverse expertise!

Elizabeth and I spent the July of 2009 together where we sat, talked, shared papers, stories, wisdom and insights. Hottest on record. We would go swimming and eat prickly pear ice cream and drink a sarsaparilla soda in the Superstition mountains. We went on a magical mystery tour from Apache Junction up to Sedona then over to Carlsbad and up to San Jose, CA. It was an epic road trip and she was an excellent co-pilot keeping us entertained with her fascinating life stories. I spent couple Thanksgivings with her and we both shared a love of pumpkin pie. We both agreed that since we are adults we can eat our pumpkin pie BEFORE the meal... and so we did. This woman knew how to have fun. We shared a love of science and exchange of knowledge. She gave the most amazing hugs which were heartfelt. I will miss those the most. She could generate such a pure love field that just swallowed you up. So grateful for those moments. When I was there I found an anonymous quote that we both loved so I wrote it down for her and stuck it on her fridge... "I hope my achievements in life shall be these - that I will have fought for what was right and fair; that I will have risked for all that mattered; that I will have stood up for those who were in need; and that I will have left the earth a better place for what I've done and who I've been." You did all those thing Elizabeth and I intend to do the same. Thank you for your continued support from the higher harmonics of life. Dance dance dance sister! I love you!

She loved that mountain and going up there for the drive, the conversation, and the food (everyone should try that ice cream). And, yes, Pumpkin Pie is Mom' go-to favorite - essentially, she would eat Thanksgiving dinner every night of the week. I just took down that lil piece of paper from Mom's fridge... knowing it meant so much is few words and to preserve it. Thanks for your love, your story, you touching heart upon my Mother - and me.

I only met Elizabeth in person once, but followed her amazing pioneering work in foundational physics over many years and several email communications. She was way ahead of her time, as some of us oldsters still are! Many blessings on her new journey. I know she is with you Brent!!!!

How the mighty has fallen....she rose up out of the challenges of being a brilliant soul, independent of spirit and pure in her integrity as a person. True to the pursuit of the truth no matter where the science would lead, she never stopped, never quit and always loved. She was an inspiration to me and a friend I was honored to have engaged in the best of conversations and mutual lifting of each other in a world that is hard often. My memories of Elizabeth are all positive. We worked together at Henry Dakin's Research Center in San Francisco. We traveled to Brazil together for an international conference. We had lunch together recently with the Hurtaks and I was delighted to receive a copy of their important new book. We share an interest in the Hopis and other native traditions. I will miss her, and so will countless others.

Dear Brent, Thank you for your thoughtful and loving email. I met your mother only twice in casual business settings with mutual friends, and I could tell she was someone very special. I absolutely know she remains with us in spirit, and I can only imagine her jetting around the universe addressing mathematical challenges of all sorts. Bless you, and, yes, the whole human family at this most challenging time.
Our first meeting was interesting. We had guests from Idaho with us and she came to see us from Phoenix. Turned out she and our Idaho guest were sort of childhood sweethearts. It was an interesting reunion. As I recall not much business happened that night! :)
