Biographie

Adam Michael Moore, 19, of West Des Moines died Thursday, December 13, 2012.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 17, 2012 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset. A visitation will be held 1 to 6 p.m., Sunday, December 16th, with family present to receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Adam Michael Moore was born March 3, 1993 in Gillette, Wyoming; the son of David Moore and Janet Hing. He graduated from Winterset High School in 2011, attended Basic Training in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina and took AIT Training in San Antonio, Texas where he was certified as a Medic. Adam was enlisted with the National Guard Reserves out of Camp Dodge.
Adam enjoyed volunteering at Wildwood Hills Ranch for children. He enjoyed journaling and sketching. He also loved music, playing his guitar, and if you knew him you know he loved to laugh. Adam also liked skateboarding and was proud of his tattoos.
Adam is survived by his parents, Janet Hing (Larry Strait) of Winterset and Dave Moore of Gillette, WY; a son, Mitchell of Winterset; a sister, Brianna (Brandon) Seidler of Savannah, GA; a brother, Dustin Ahrens of Gillette, WY; two step-brothers, Nathan Strait of Seattle, WA and Nicholas Strait of Benson, AZ; maternal grandfather, Kay Yuen L. Hing of Laramie, WY; paternal grandfather, Jan Galassi of San Antonia, TX. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Christian; grandmother, Arlene Hing; and grandfather, Carlo Galassi.
