Abelina T. Medina

Abelina T. Medina – Age 99 a resident of Ranchitos and formerly of Ensenada passed away on Saturday, August 5th, 2006. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Juan Garcia; her second husband, the late Jose A. Medina; a son, the late Phil "Lino" Medina; and a grandson reared by her, the late Jerry Herrera. May their souls rest in peace. She is survived by her 3 daughters: Katie Viarreal and husband Juan of Alcalde, Bernie Jaramillo of Fairview, Genoveva Espinoza and husband Jose of Santa Cruz; 1 son, Jose Medina and wife Maria of Ranchitos; a grandson reared by her, Felix Herrera and wife Kathy of Fairview;; brother and sister-in-law: Ernesto Marquez and wife Bernie of Ranchitos; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 8th, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 9th, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Lucy Maestas, Carmen Quintana, Noel Sanchez, Jerry Jaramillo, Ignacio Medina and Hector Villareal.
