Biografía

Edward P. Martinez, 54, of Colorado Springs and formerly of Arroyo Hondo, NM passed away on December 21, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his infant brothers, Daniel Martinez and Allen Thomas Medina, adopted brother, Raymond James Martinez, grandparents, Maurilio and Alicia Martinez, Leopoldo Martinez, Frances and Margarito Chacon, stepbrother, Raymond Chavez and stepsister, June Montoya.

He is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Martinez, son, Daniel Martinez (Samantha), grandchildren, Caleb Jose and Noah Rey, father, Leonides Martinez (Frances), mother, Georgina Medina (Herbert), brothers and sister, Steven Martinez (Anna), Annette Baca (Anthony) and Herbert Medina Jr., partner, Maria Connie Aragon, adopted sister, Melissa Martinez Ickes, stepbrothers, Wayne Chavez and Aram Montoya, stepsisters, Sally Blair and Libby Lyon, many nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, January 03, 2018 at 6 PM at Rivera Chapel in Taos. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 04, 2018 at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Arroyo Seco. Interment will be held on Friday, January 05, 2018 at 2:15 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

To the Martinez n Medina Family, So sorry to hear of the loss of Edward. I grew up with him in Hondo. I remember when we were younger, we went fishing, rode our bikes, and played basketball.
