I feel so blessed to have had Dorian as a second mother. When we all lived in Westport, the memories are amazing and it has taken me decades to realize that my yearning for Westport had little to do with the place and everything to do with Dorian, my bubbie, Leah, her little sister Hillary, and Barnie. I felt so loved and included in your family. I will never forget you and will always appreciate you!

I received Jessica’s email with your e-address and phone #. Thank you for being so willing to share with me. I have to tell you, I have been of 2 minds in trying to reach you and Leah. When you left CT for CA I know it had to have been an extremely emotional time for you. I didn’t want to resurrect those emotions for your family. And here we are….. and I have no idea where to start to catch up. ☺️ Having said that, I hope you and your family are well and happy. I cannot believe you have a 22 year old daughter! Okay, I can’t believe I am 65 and Leah will be shortly.

We left Westport mid 70's, but she volunteered at June havoc's studio in Bridgeport,CT. Late 60's probably until we left. My dad was Bernard Kates (actor director) mom taught at Bambi Lynn studios in Westport Connecticut and she would take her kids with her often to Bridgeport Connecticut yes she volunteered and taught dance there

Good to hear from you. I was a student of hers at Your hbridge. I thought of her often thru the yrs. I remembered she did bring her daughter. When I was a freshman at UB I wd help her teach class. I cd never remember her last name because I wanted to keep in touch thru the yrs. I remembered her being a very nice person. I was looking through some old articles from youthbridge and that’s how I came about her last name. It must have been you she wd bring. I am now just turned 70 in May of this yr. So glad you responded. Sorry to hear of her passing.
