Amelia Rodriguez

Amelia Rodriguez, 84 of Albuquerque, formerly of Rio Lucio, died peacefully on Monday November 17, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband Alferino Rodriguez, parents Manuel and Carlota Medina, and sister Aneda Lopez. She is survived by her son Norman Rodriguez of Albuquerque, and Gloria Lopez who was raised as a daughter, sister Clara Vigil of Santa Fe, and nephews and nieces; Benny Vigil and wife Louanna of Santa Fe, William Vigil of Santa Fe, Prescilla Varela and husband Darrell of Santa Fe, Patrick Vigil and wife Judy of Santa Fe, Bernice Tapia and husband Daniel of Santa Fe, Karmela Vigil of Santa Fe, Rosemary Herrera and husband Eloy of Albuquerque, Larry Lopez and wife Doris of Taos, Antonio Lopez and wife Evelyn of Center, CO., Tobias Lopez and wife Carol of Albuquerque, Lorraine Lopez and husband Frank of Penasco, Diane Rubalcaba and husband Angel of CA., Randy Lopez and wife Shelly of Center, CO., Ricky Lopez and wife Maria of CA., Lillian Aguirre and husband Fernando of CA., Michael Lopez of CA., grandsons; Joey, Robert and Angel Rodriguez, and great grandson Matthew. Public visitation will take place on Wednesday at 5:00 pm at San Antonio De Padua Catholic Church with recitation of the rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 am also at church, with interment to follow at the Rio Lucio Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers will be:: Patrick Vigil, Darrell Varela, Daniel Tapia, Gerald Lopez, Bernie Lopez and Louis Romero,and honorary pallbearer being Sharon Herrera.
